From the developers who made the fun, crafty RPG Crashlands, Levelhead is the all-new Sandbox Platformer by Butterscotch Shenanigans. The game was previously available through early access in PC.
The Budget Mario Maker is turning heads for its visually rich customizations in building and sharing your own levels. Levelhead is available on Google Play and the App Store, priced at $6.99.
Butterscotch Shenanigans claims that the game is capable of cross platforming. And that’s possible across Xbox(+Game Pass), Nintendo Switch, PC( Steam and Epic Stores), Android and iOS.
Play as the cute delivery robot GR-18 from the Bureau of Shipping, Galaxy’s premier package delivery corporation. The robot is undergoing training, handled by you, who is a new Levelhead trainee employee. Help it deliver packages by hopping and running around through some of the user-generated levels. Build your own creative levels to challenge other players as well.
Apart from having obvious inspirations from the Popular Mario Maker series, Levelhead feels very unique in its own ways. The gameplay, along with a very fun user interface, makes use of diverse mechanics. The Co-Op supports up to 4 players.
The cargo you carry is not merely just a delivery item in the game. It can be used to your advantage in some tough situations as well. And that involves jumping to greater heights or activating a remote switch.
The unique grappling system called the Hookshot device lets you grab on to your cargo or on to the different structures of the level. The Power-ups in this platformer are game-changing, from punching through breakable walls, teleporting through blocked paths and even sneaking through obstructing enemies.
The “Marketing Department” is an in-game menu where you have the chance to promote your own levels. It lets you gain points for playing other’s levels, and in turn, using those points for promotion of your levels. This is undoubtedly one of the most genius sandbox elements from the game.
Levelhead is a unique platforming experience. The innovative options make it an effective, low-cost alternative to Nintendo’s Mario Maker series. Levelhead is now available on Android and iOS for the price $6.99.
