Developer Scatterbrain Studio is yet to release its upcoming game Hexicon. It's a strategy based game where you have to use your vocabulary to take control of the board. It's available in early access for Android and iOS devices.
The game is obviously played on a hexagonal grid, which consists of mini-hexagons that each has a letter on them. Players take turns and find words in the grid so that they can claim those tiles and mark it as their own territory. You can do this by tapping on the first letter and then moving the cursor across the letters until you reach the end of the word.
The main aim of this game is to claim the tiles in the center of the hexagon. This is a shape made of six hexagons. The player who has most of their color around that shape will be able to take over the middle tile and gain a point. The first to claim 16 such tiles will win.
This game is certainly for people who are into puzzles and word games. It also has a multiplayer mode where you don't have to wait for your opponent to finish the turn. You can still make your move.
Hexicon is now available in early access on Google Play Store, and for iOS, you can join through Testflight game available on App Store.
