Hello Survivors, PUBG Mobile is soon going to get a massive update, which will be the 0.16.0 version of the game. Just like every time, a lot of new features will be introduced along with the update. In this post, we are going to talk in detail about the upcoming ‘Death Race’ mode also known as ‘Ragegear Mode’ which is expected to be released with the same update.

The PUBG Mobile ‘Death Race’ Mode is something similar to the movie franchise of the same name. As always, Mr.GHOST GAMING posted a video on the upcoming features of PUBG Mobile, and in that video, it is suggested that the Death Race Mode is an indication of Tencent Games’ upcoming crossover event.

The new mode looks like an action car racing game that is taking place at a race court situated in the Miramar Map. Here the cars are equipped with different guns and weapons which are already available in the game. The players get to choose the car and weapon of their choice. The options available for the vehicle are: Dacia, Buggy, and UAZ and each of them with a different heavy-duty weapon mounted on them such as: M134 Miniguns, Rockets, etc.

The players have to destroy other players’ cars to reach a definite target score. The gameplay of Death Race Mode is similar to Team Deathmatch Mode, two teams consisting of up to 4 players will face each other in the racecourse, and the aim is to kill or destroy the opponent’s car to win.

There is a twist in the Death Race Mode that you have to stay within the car as there is no option to get out of it. Each team will have three vehicles with a maximum of two players in each.

At the time of the final release, which is expected on 11th December, the Death Race Mode is expected to be called ‘Derby Mode.’ As of now, it is not confirmed that this new mode will definitely be introduced in the next update. But if you are curious about trying the Death Race Mode, then you can download PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 Version and give it a try.
