In the Pokemon Masters Mobile Game, the Pokemon Trainers will aim to become the champion of a tournament called the Pokemon masters league, which is being held in PASIO. In Pokemon Masters, every trainer will have single Pokemon which travels around with them as their partner.
This Trainer-Pokemon duo will be called as ‘SYNC Pair’ in the game. Through the story the player will meet trainers who have appeared in the Past Pokemon Video Games and form a team with other SYNC pair and to Qualify for the Pokemon Masters League, they all will go on an adventure collecting badges along the way.

You're the main character. Youill set out on an adventurous journey on the artificial island of Pasio with Pikachu as your partner Pokemon.
Brock and Onix
