Pokemon GO Fest 2020: Tickets Are On Sale For The Online Event

Ever since Niantic announced that the Pokémon GO fest will be held online this year, due to the ongoing pandemic, fans have been patiently waiting for the tickets for the event. And Niantic has finally obliged by putting up the tickets for sale. Interested players can now purchase the tickets for $14.99 through an in-app purchase.

This year's Pokémon GO Fest will be held on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 25. The activities will start at 10 am (local time) and go on till 8 pm (local time) on each day. The first day will feature an exclusive special research quest and a new Global Challenge Arena where, every hour, players will be able to team up with other players from around the world to earn rewards. The second-day activities are being kept a secret by Niantic and will be revealed on the second day itself.

As stated earlier by Niantic, as a part of a minimum donation of $5 million, half of the proceeds from the Pokémon GO Fest will be donated to black AR creators, while the other half will be donated to the US non-profit organizations working on rebuilding local communities.

The tickets will be up for sale up until the end of the fest on Sunday, July 26. Interested players can buy the tickets via the Pokémon GO app.
