Developed by Square Enix, The FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition was initially scheduled to release on 23rd January for all the platforms. But as reported by us earlier, the release got delayed till Summer 2020. Recently, Square Enix has announced a new release date of the game.
FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition will release on 27th August 2020 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It will feature the cross-play system, which means you can be matched with players on any platform. It will also bring a lot of new and enhanced features, including the new 'Mimic' system and online multiplayer.
About FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition
As the name itself suggest, FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition is an improved and new version of the original game 'FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES' that was launched on Nintendo GameCube way back in 2003.
In this action-RPG, you play as a young hero. With a Moogle companion or along with up to three other friends, he travels the world to search for valuable liquid myrrh to cleanse and maintain a crystal that protects the land and its people from the deeply poisonous gas called Miasma.
The Remastered edition comes with enhanced features and new content. This includes upgraded visuals, game's world and inhabitants in glorious HD, improved Audio, and new voiceovers. The new edition will also be featuring an online multiplayer for the first time in the game.
Original Version of the game required four GameBoy Advances and link cables to play as a team, but with the remastered version, you will be able to play online conveniently. The cross-play system of the new edition makes you play with anyone who owns the game regardless of the platform.
Whether you are playing as a team or solo, this adventure lets you take on challenging bosses and explore dangerous dungeons, some of these have been added exclusively in this edition. It will also bring an entirely new 'Mimic' system that lets you take on the form of different people you meet on the journey to mix up your style.
The FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition will be a great addition to the series after its release on 27th August 2020.
