Wasteland Survivors Event Is Coming To Free Fire With Permanent Kalahari Map

Free Fire is getting an OB20 update in the game, which will bring a lot of new features, including a desert-based Kalahari map. After the release of the OB20 update on 25th February and opening of the Kalahari map on 28th February, Free Fire will be getting a new event called 'Wasteland Survivors.' the event will cover the game in a post-apocalyptic theme during its run.

As soon as players start the game, they will be taken to a ravaged spawn island featuring a collapsed stage, a big damaged screen, and debris strewn about. The world of Free Fire may look desolated and bleak, but the players are going to earn plenty of in-game rewards.

The pre-registrations of Wasteland Survivors Event has already started on 22nd February and will end on 25th February. Those who register for the event will be rewarded with 5 Incubator Royale Vouchers once on logging back between 25th and 27th February.

Preheat

Preheat will also bring back Cold Steel Mode from 25th February till 1st March, in addition to a shooting map drop taking place from 26th February to 4th March. The map drop has players searching for a particular sculpture that needs to be broken to collect Black Skull tokens. You can earn twice the number of tokens on its Peak Day - 1st March.

Black Skull Tokens can be redeemed between 1st March and 3rd March to earn the BORDERLANDS female set. The BORDERLANDS male set is also available in the game, but only for purchase. These are the required tokens for each piece:

The desert-based Kalahari Map is also making its permanent way to Free Fire opening from 28th February and onwards. It has already been made available to the game for a limited period. If you tried out the map that time, let us tell you that the previous version just had a taste of what it had to offer, the new map has much more to explore.

Peak Day

Wasteland Survivors Even will start from 1st March, and by logging on this day, players can receive a mask from the BORDERLANDS skin set, 3x experience, a new backpack skin, gold and fragments with the daily limit also tripled.

A new mode called 'Bomb Mode' will also be launched on the peak day of Westland Survivors and will be available throughout March (till 31st March). This mode requires strategic place from both the teams, as one tries to detonate a bomb while other does everything possible to stop that from happening.

An Elite version of the Kelly, known as 'The Flash,' will also be made available to unlock once her awakening missions are completed as long as they already have unlocked Kelly and enhanced her up to 2 levels. Once you unlock the Elite Version, The flash will become the permanent addition to the player's roster of the playable character.

Charge-it-up Web Event

A Special Event called 'Charge-it-up Web Event' will also take place from 27th February till 9th March, allowing players to complete various in-game missions to earn a number of rewards.

Part A: Throughout the Charge-it-up event, Milestone Achievement will be available and requires players to complete a set number of hours in order to earn a Token A, by which a Green Skull token can be redeemed, as well as the BORDERLANDS grenade skin, a diamond royale, and weapon royale voucher, and other similar items.

Part B: Peak Day 'grey-out' gacha can be completed starting from 1st March to 9th March by way of daily login missions to accumulate Token B, which can be used to redeem a Yellow Skull Token.
