Peacekeeper Elite Global Championship Of PUBG Mobile Starting On 28th December 2019

Looks like PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) World Cup, 2019, was not the last PUBG Mobile eSports tournament of the year 2019. Another organization has decided to conduct a PUBG Mobile tournament before the year ends. The eSports tournament called 'Peacekeeper Elite Championship (PEC)' 2019 is going to be held during the last few days of the year starting from 28th December 2019.

The Peacekeeper Elite Championship is the first-ever world championship of Peacekeeper Elite, which is the Chinese rebranded version of PUBG Mobile (also known as 'Game for Peace'). A total of 15 teams would participate in Peacekeeper Elite Championship, out of which 12 are the top teams of Fall Split, 2019, and the other 3 are Top 3 rankers of the Chinese-based Peacekeeper Elite League (check out details on liquipedia).

PEC 2019 will take place on 28th-29th December 2019, and a total of 8 matches will be played. The matches will be held in two maps: Erangel and Miramar, TPP, Squad-Mode. In the South Asia region, three teams have been invited, and all three are from India only. SouL, Fnatic, and SynerGE are going to represent India in PEC 2019.

It is pretty weird that Entity Gaming from India, which has performed in many tournaments better than the above-mentioned teams, has not been invited to the Championship. If organizers have invited Entity Gaming, we could have got to see exciting fights.

The prize pool of Peacekeeper Elite Championship (PEC) 2019 is 3 Million Yuan (USD 429,645.54). The winners will get 1/3rd of the total prize pool (around 1.1 Million Yuan), and the first runner will get 1/5 of it. There are various smaller prizes as well for MVP and Players with most kills.
