From the time of release, there are only Single-Player races and Bonus Challenges to play. On the name of competition, there is only the game’s leaderboard.
But here is a piece of good news for you that Mario Kart Tour is going to get a multiplayer mode in the future update. Yes, you heard it right! A picture of the new menu screen of the Mario Kart Tour has been leaked (attached below), in which the multiplayer option can be seen and it is expected that the multiplayer mode will be made available with the future update.
