Free Fire OB23 update is just around the corner and is expected to release in the last days of July. Before the release of the new update, the leaks have started coming about the upcoming features. The new addition to the game is going to be the new gun called 'AUG.'
Free Fire has also started taking registrations of the Advance Server, where you can try out upcoming features of the OB23 update. You can register and download OB23 Advance Server here. The information about a new gun is not just a leak; even it can be treated as an official announcement as it has been shared officially on Free Fire Brazil's twitter handle.
Free Fire's AUG gun is going to an Assault Rifle (AR), making its way to the game with the OB23 update. It is an adaption of Steyr AUG [Armee Universal Gewehr - (Universal Army Rifle)], which is an Austrian 5.56x45mm NATO bullpup Assault Rifle. It was designed in the 1960s by Steyr-Daimler-Puch and now manufactured by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG.
AUG has already been made available in other battle royale games like PUBG Mobile, and now making its way to the Free Fire. It can be equipped with all equipment available in the game, i.e., Muzzle, Magazine, Foregrip, Stock, Scope, and Silencer. It is going to be a great addition to the Free Fire Weapons.
