Free Fire Champions Cup Has Been Postponed Due To Coronavirus

The severe epidemic of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has been spread all across the globe. It started from China and now has reached to at least 47 countries, and new cases are being reported outside China within. The virus has reached every continent except Antarctica.

Globally more than 82,000 people have been infected, and out of that, nearly 3,000 have died. WHO has declared the epidemic as a Public Health Emergency on International Level, which is their highest level of alarm. So it can be seen that the situation is pathetic all around the world.

In light of this evolving situation globally, the organizers of the Free Fire Champions Cup (FFCC) 2020 have released an official statement on the Free Fire Official Facebook page mentioning the postponement of FFCC 2020 due to spread of Coronavirus worldwide. They said:

"We are postponing the Free Fire Champions Cup (FFCC) 2020, which was scheduled for April 19 in Jakarta. Keeping to our commitment of prioritizing the well-being of our athletes, fans and staff, it is not feasible to bring them from around the world together for the event."

The organizers intend to hold the Championship on a later date. They are working hard on exploring all the possibilities to proceed with the event as soon as the condition allows.
