All Tencent Games Gets Banned in India: PUBG Mobile, Arena of Valor, Chess Rush and Others

The Government of India banned 59 Chinese Applications earlier this year, and following it; they have now announced more 118 More Applications to be banned in the country, which includes all the apps published by Tencent Games.

Tencent Games is the video game publishing division of Tencent Interactive Entertainment. Founded in 2003, Tencent Games is now the biggest mobile game developer in the world. As of now, the studio has published a total of 5 mobile applications in India. And the Indian Government has now announced to impose a ban on all five of them.

List of All 5 Tencent Games Which are Banned in India:

  • PUBG Mobile
  • PUBG Mobile Lite
  • Ludo World - Ludo Superstar
  • Arena of Valor: 5v5 Arena Game
  • Chess Rush

It comes as a massive shock for Tencent Games as both PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor was very popular in the region and amounted to a huge portion of both total download and revenue. Indian Government has cited that these mobile applications are prejudicial to India's sovereignty and integrity, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order.
