You must be thinking, what about the Free Fire India Championship 2020 canceled due to the pandemic. The authorities have shared that:

With the current development of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel Free Fire India Championship 2020 LAN Finals and reintroduce FFIC 2020 in another format.

FFIC 2020 Organizers

The new format is yet to be officially announced by the developers. But our expertise says that in the current situation, the Championship is going to be completely online in the same format as Free Fire Brawler Bash and Free Fire Battle Arena.

FFIC 2020 Registration

The registrations of the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2020 are free of cost and will take place through in-game Free Fire Cup (FFC) Mode. The registrations will start from 13th August 2020 00:00 IST until 21st August 21:00 IST. All the teams must have at least 4 players or maximum 5 players (a substitute).

The team names and nicknames you choose must not contain explicit/vulgar words. The nicknames you have changed must not be changed until the tournament is over, and each member of the team should be a part of a single team only. We will come up with a step by step guide for registration soon.

FFIC 2020 Open Qualifiers

After successful registration, each team gets 8 tickets in their Free Fire accounts. On 16th August 2020, between 16:00 to 21:00 IST, all the registered teams need to participate in Free Fire India Championship Open Qualifiers using the in-game FFC Mode. One ticket will be used for a match, and a maximum of 8 matches can be played out of that best 5 will be counted.

After completion of Open qualifiers, all the data will be verified by the developers between 17th August to 23rd August 2020. After that, selected teams will proceed to the next round 'League Qualifiers', the matches of which will be played on 24th and 25th August 2020.

Format FFIC 2020

The tournament format is yet to be announced, but from the previous two online tournaments, we can expect this Championship to conclude in 4 stages. The four stages are Online Qualifiers, League Qualifier, Playoffs & Finals, similar to Free Fire Battle Arena. We will share the detailed information as soon as the official announcement takes place.
