PUBG Mobile: PMPL South Asia 2020 To Resume From May 22

PMPL South Asia, which was postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 break out across the globe, is set to resume from May 22. It will be a four-week-long tournament where 20 teams from India, Nepal, and Bangladesh will fight for a slot in the Pubg Mobile World League(PMWL 2020), which would be held later this year.

Participating Teams

The teams have been divided into 5 groups of 4 teams each.

PMPL South Asia Participating Teams

There are 5 invited teams - TSM Entity, Soul, Powerhouse, SynerGE, and TeamIND. Rest 15 have qualified through the regional qualifiers.

Prize Pool and Format

The overall prize pool for PMPL SA 2020 is $138,500, with $40,000 and $20,000 for the teams securing the first and second positions, respectively. The top 2 teams would qualify for the Pubg Mobile World League Finals.

The standings before the tournament were suspended temporarily would stand with UMEXRxn at first and SynerGE at the second position. Due to lockdown, it would not be LAN tournament, and the team would have to play from their home or boot camps.

The event would be live streamed on YouTube channel of PUBG mobile in Hindi and English from May 22 at 5:30 PM.
