App Annie has released its list of the top 10 most downloaded mobile games of the decade. In this list, everyone's all-time favorite Subway Surfers secured the number one spot by defeating the close competitors like Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans, My Talking Tom etc.
In the age of advanced graphics mobile games, it is strange that Subway Surfers managed to be at the first place. App Annie points out the reason behind it is the immense success in India.
App Annie also mentioned that there is a growth of 5% in mobile game downloads and a 15% growth in cosumer spend (excluding third-party Android) year-over-year.
Apart from most-downloaded mobile games of the decade, App Annie also released the list of top 10 most-downloaded mobile games of 2019. The list is as follows:
It is interesting to see that, Subway Surfers still managed to do incredibly well in the year of 2019 also by defeating the GOTY and TGA 2019 winner 'Call of Duty: Mobile'. The year 2019 is going well for the developers Good Job Games, as their three games managed to secure ranks in the top 10 most-downloaded mobile games of 2019.
As you all know the real success lies in all-time consumer spend rather than most-downloaded games. In the top 10 mobile games by all-time consumer spend, Supercell's Clash of Clans secured the first place followed by Monster Strike and Candy Crush Saga.
