Developer Orangepixel released their sequel to their original title Space Grunts. Space Grunts 2 is somewhat similar to the original, which combines some of the fastest turn-based gameplay with card-battling mechanics in a 1950's sci-fi rogue-like setting.
In SG2, you land on a planet, find an entrance to the space station, and battle aliens, robots, and hazardous environments using your deck of cards. You'll get to add cards and build a deck before each run. Some cards may do more than just killing aliens, but some might help in accessing machines and open doors so that you can find alternatives and avoid fight sometimes.
You can also try and explore more rather than just completing the stage as soon as possible. You might even find secret passages which contain rare cards, which increases your alien murder streak.
Space Grunts 2 is a premium title available on App Store for iOS devices and a PC version on Steam.
