PUBG Mobile introduced the feature named 'Spectate' in the game in 0.12.0 update. Through this feature a PUBG Mobile player can spectate the live gameplay of his in-game Friends, Crew Members and Clan Members. If you are waiting for your friend to finish his match than this option can be a good time killer for you. You can simply click on the circular button in front of his name in your friend list to watch his live gameplay even if you are not in his team.
Some PUBG Mobile players are happy with this features and some are not. This can be a good feature for the beginners and even for some old players, because through this feature they can watch the gameplay of others and can even learn the new tactics and strategies, which they do not know. But some other players thinks it is against their privacy, because if they follow a unique strategy to win the game, which they do not want to share with anyone, now that is no more only their's because now others can spectate them without their willingness and can get to know about their strategy.
If you do not like this Spectating feature you can Deactivate the Spectator Mode in a legit way without using any third-party app. By keeping both the positive and negative aspects in the mind, PUBG Mobile has introduced this new feature in the game to Deactivate the Spectator Mode, if you do no want anyone to spectate your gameplay. Here the steps which you need to follow in order to Deactivate the Spectator Mode:
Step 1: Launch the PUBG Mobile app on your Smartphone and wait till the loading process to end;
Step 2: After the Home Screen appears, Tap on the 'Settings' (gear icon) to go to the Settings area;
Step 3: Tap on the 'Basic' tab under the Settings area;
Step 4: Scroll down and find out the option 'Allow Spectator';
Step 5: Disable this option to turn off the Spectator Mode.
After following the above mentioned steps, you have successfully Disabled the Spectator Mode for you in-game profile, now none of your friend or crew member or clan member will be able to spectate your gameplay, until you again enable this feature.
