Being an Augmented Reality (AR) Mobile Game, Minecraft Earth will use ARCore for android and Apple ARKit for iOS. Good things is that these native platforms brings AR tools directly to their respective operating System. Also Microsoft has confirmed that Minecraft Earth will only work on Apple Devices running on iOS 10 or newer and for Android it should be minimum of Android 7 Nougat.
